Delivery: Face-to-face workshops

We offer this course in fun and easily absorbed workshop style. Our full TAA course for new trainers and assessors is conducted over 14 sessions that allows time for important training delivery practice and conduct of assessments. This means you have less work to complete outside of the class. You will still need to complete some workplace based assessment. We recognise that some students may not have access to an effective workplace environment. In these circumstances RediTeach may provide opportunities within our own RTO for workplace application.

Blended Delivery (not available at this time)

Study in your own time with our On Line Learning Center (OLC) resources. This delivery is fully supported by our experienced instructors and includes interactive live Web Workshops. This form of delivery is ideal for anyone who wants to study at their own pace and in their own time.

How much time is required to complete the full qualification?

Much of the course work and assessments are done in the workshops. You practice and complete tasks in a “simulated” RTO, much like RediTeach. Revision quizzes, learning programs, practice facilitation (presenting training) and conduct assessments are all done with the group in class or at your workplace.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

If you are already training and assessing in your current job or have completed other teaching and vocational training qualifications or degrees we may be able to recognise your prior learning enabling you to fast-track your qualification. You will need to provide evidence of your experience or qualifications.

Upgrade your old Certificate

Some people have the “old” Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198). The TAA qualification has 14 units. A current BSZ qualified trainer will complete 8 “new” TAA units and can gain recognition for six equivalent BSZ units. You must also demonstrate “current competence” in the equivalent six units to show you are still training and assessing in a vocational environment.
